Packing Your Diaper Bag Like a Pro!
In the first few weeks, it would take me over 30 minutes to get out of the house. Packing his Diaper Bag, making sure I had everything I needed including the stroller and leaving my coffee behind was a common challenge.
I was so nervous I was going to forget something completely essential and the world would come to an end.
Ultimately you end up having to leave the house and although it sounds so simple it can make or break your entire on-the-go experience.
Having prepared a kit in the car and having a list in the diaper bag of essentials, were lifesavers.
I am always complimented on having everything I need within arms reach when it comes to my son!

Here are the essentials in my diaper bag for a mom-on-the-go;
Stocking the bag to have 8 diapers will ensure that even on the worst days, you have more.
Utilizing a baby wipe container is great however I never felt like there was enough so I would buy the packages that were pre-prepared.
After you see a public restroom-changing table, you’ll want one! I also kept one in the car because 90 percent of our diaper changes while out and about happened in the car.
Pacifier (x2), Pacifier Clip, Pacifier Protector
If your baby does not like pacifiers such as our son, I still kept them on hand. There would be instances it did calm him and others where he liked playing with the Pacifier Clip. These are the best because it can also be used as a teether!
These are the most popular pacifier clips!
Change of Clothes (x2)
Consider the weather and always include a blanket or heavy weight shirt if you’re out later than expected. Don’t forget the socks!
Include 1 bib for every feeding you anticipate having with no less than 2 in the bag.
Diaper Rash Cream
There is nothing worse than an uncomfortable baby and often the rashes will start unpredictably. Our FAVORITE diaper cream has always been Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. The joys of teething, sigh. Here are a few that are extremely popular;
Have you seen these awesome teething necklaces you can wear!!!
If you are breastfeeding, keep a pouch of items just for you in the diaper bag. Including nipple cream, breastfeeding cover and nursing pads.
If you are formula feeding containers to to hold the formula, it was a nightmare without it! 3 Bottles and 2 Bottled Waters to mix along the way!
While you are out enjoying the day with your baby, think about coming home to a clean house! This is one of my favorite luxuries as a Mom!
